"Doomsday Clock" is a 12-issue DC Comics series (2017–2019) by Geoff Johns and Gary Frank, a direct sequel to Alan Moore's Watchmen. It is named after — but distinct from — the real Doomsday Clock maintained by the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists.
The real clock is a scientific risk assessment. The comic is fiction inspired by the symbol. Both draw on the same nuclear-era anxiety.
